Orlando Cabrales Segovia (2*)

Executive Chairman

Mr. Orlando Cabrales Segovia  is the current Chairman of the Board of  CGX Energy Inc and the Chief Executive Officer of Frontera Energy Corporation. Mr Cabrales has over 30 years of experience in the public and private energy sector in Colombia, including serving as President of NATURGAS, the Colombian natural gas trade association, until March 2021, as Vice-Minister of Energy of the Ministry of Mines and Energy in Colombia between 2013 and 2014, and as the President of ANH, the Colombian hydrocarbon agency from 2011 to 2013.

Mr. Orlando Cabrales Segovia is the current Chairman of the Board of  CGX Energy Inc and the Chief Executive Officer of Frontera Energy Corporation. Mr Cabrales has over 30 years of experience in the public and private energy sector in Colombia, including serving as President of NATURGAS, the Colombian natural gas trade association, until March 2021, as Vice-Minister of Energy of the Ministry of Mines and Energy in Colombia between 2013 and 2014, and as the President of ANH, the Colombian hydrocarbon agency from 2011 to 2013.  

Mr. Cabrales previously held senior roles at BP in Latin America. Mr Cabrales is Chief Executive Officer of Frontera Energy Corp. and member of its board of directors. In addition, he currently sits on the boards of Isagen and Conconcreto and previously served on the boards of numerous companies in Colombia including Tuscany Drilling, Cenit, and ISA.  Mr. Cabrales earned an undergraduate degree in Law from Pontificia Javeriana University and a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Boston College.

Dennis Mills (1*)(2)(3)

Mr. Mills was a director of Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. and was Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MI Developments Inc. from 2004 to 2011, and a Vice President at Magna International from 1984 to 1987. Mr. Mills served as a Member of Parliament in Canada’s federal parliament from 1988 to 2004

Since 2013, Mr. Mills has been a Director at CGX Energy Inc. Mr. Mills is also CEO of Racing Future Inc, a horse racing fan promotion company, which he founded in 2010. Dennis Mills is currently President & CEO of Toronto Partners Inc. From February 2012 until November 2016, Mr Mills was a member of the Board of Directors of Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp where he was Chairman of the Audit Committee. Previous to his current roles, Mr. Mills served as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MI Developments Inc., which is one of the largest shareholders and operators of thoroughbred racetracks in the United States of America. Mr. Mills served as a Member of Parliament in Canada's federal parliament from 1988 to 2004 for the riding of Toronto-Danforth. While a Member of Parliament, Mr. Mills was Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Industry from 1993 to 1996, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs from 1993 to 1995, and the Chair of the Committee studying the Industry of Sport in Canada. Mr. Mills was the Senior Policy Advisor to the Cabinet Committee onCommunications (1980-1984), Advisor to the Minister of Energy (1980-1981), Senior Advisor to the Minister of Multiculturalism (1980), and Senior Communications Advisor to the Prime Minister of Canada, The Right Honorable Pierre Elliott Trudeau (1980-1984).

Alejandra Bonilla has more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Mrs Bonilla has served as Frontera's Corporate Vice President, Legal, and General Counsel & Secretary. She has been both outside counsel and in-house counsel in international law firms and oil and gas companies. Mrs. Bonilla is versed in international and local oil and gas matters in Latin America, as well as in mergers and acquisitions, and corporate financing.

Andrés Sarmiento (1)

Andrés Sarmiento was appointed to the Board of Directors of CGX Energy Inc. in July 2026. He brings more than 15 years of leadership experience across the energy, infrastructure and public policy sectors. He most recently served as Vice President, Corporate Sustainability & People at Frontera, where he gained broad experience in corporate strategy, business transformation and strategic initiatives. Previously, he served as Secretary General and Interim President of Naturgas, Colombia’s natural gas industry association, and as Economic Advisor to Colombia’s Minister of Energy. Mr. Sarmiento is an economist and holds a master’s degree in Energy, Mining and Finance from Imperial College London.
